Flying connects the world

There are many aspects about Aviation that have influenced humanity in many ways, ranging from transportation to military use and space exploration among others. Once tasted the flight experience, it is hard to let go, may it be due to comfort, adventure or scientific development.

But what can a globalization, localization and translation firm as Wagner contribute – and why does the industry need such services?

The different industry sectors set out different requirements:

Private Sector

An ever-growing private sector is important – but what do we define with “private sector”: it can range from flight schools to pilots or airplane manufacturers of all kind. The need for multilingual operating manuals can be necessary for the international growth of a manufacturer, flight school may require training material in different languages or support with multilingual PR or marketing materials to attract new students.

Airports

When you visit airports nowadays, you are confronted with a magnitude of international travelers. It has become easy to reach any part of the world in hours, and with more affordable flights the number of international travelers is steadily increasing, both from a business and private spectrum.

Visiting airports that are in different countries can be challenging, especially when the traveler is not speaking the domestic language. Therefore, many airports provide translation of signs, bullets and announcements to their visitors.

Though, this is just one of the spectrums airports require translation, localization or globalization services. Others can be the translation of instructions for foreign nationals, security manuals or operating manuals for machinery systems for the ground staff.

International Corporations

Corporations working on an international level are facing unique challenges, especially with their communication. Their global staff consists of many persons with a divers linguistic and cultural background, that can make internal communication hard. An important aspect for such corporations is serving their customers in their language, meaning that software systems, marketing documents and labeling in multiple languages has become the standard.

Parts and Maintenance Contract Providers

Serving an international customer base means that this industry sector is challenged by communication with multiple nationalities, receiving orders from around the world and having to deliver documentation among others in multiple languages, making for example technical manuals and software systems available in their client´s language.

Government & Military

Government contracts are an integral aspect of this industry, designing and manufacturing military aircraft or weaponry systems. For government and military needs, please contact our office to discuss this further.

Space

On July 20, 1969 mankind set its first step on another celestial planet, when Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin landed the Lunar Module Eagle on the moon. Since then the development has been huge and till date continues to grow thanks to agencies such as NASA or ESA.

Research & Development

Development needs international cooperation and research on a global level, that needs language solutions of excellence.
