Recently, we celebrated a very important date for all our collaborators from Ukraine: Ukrainian Independence Day.
About Ukraine
• It is a sovereign state in Eastern Europe.
• The country has a population of 42.5 million, making it the 32nd most populous country in the world.
• The capital is Kiev, the largest city.
• The official language is Ukrainian.
• Ukraine is one of the largest grain exporters thanks to its extensive fertile lands.

About the Ukraine’s Independence Day
This is the main state holiday in modern Ukraine. Celebrated every August 24, it commemorates the Declaration of Independence of 1991.
Generally, the Independence Day is celebrated with a military parade held in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.There is also crowds of people in folk costumes and some wave the Ukrainian flag. Other events include free public markets and fairs, circuses, fireworks, concerts and sporting events.
The current form of holiday was first celebrated on July 16 1991, as the first anniversary of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine. However, since the Declaration of Independence was issued on 24 August 1991, the date of the holiday changed.

Celebration at Wagner
Different teams of individuals with different backgrounds form Wagner and we are happy to count with such a diversified ambience. Therefore, we couldn’t let go of the celebration of an important holiday for our people.
On August 24, our smiles and hearts were light blue and yellow, just like the Ukrainian flag. We celebrated along our collaborators the 27th anniversary of the country’s independence. We might not have had parades or concerts but the joy and unity felt strong and loud.
