One of the main problems in marketing is the conversion rate that the companies have.

This has always been something incredibly important, but it is much more important nowadays because every day more and more companies are investing to have a good online presence. However, if you are online, the problems are not solved at all. Every day is harder to have a conversion online and every day is more expensive, because of the demand these services have.

The main recommendation is to captivate your customers through interactive experiences.

Don’t panic! It’s not as hard as you think, First of all, we need to differentiate interactive experiences online and offline. It doesn’t matter if your business is a service, a grocery store in a residential neighborhood, a multi-national company or an online store. Both will help you to raise your conversion rate.

OFFLINE EXPERIENCES

This kind of marketing is focused on generating emotions and feelings in your potential clients bringing to them an amazing experience. This kind of marketing is usually called “Experience marketing” (it makes sense).

But, what kind of experience can you bring to your potential client? Well, it will depend on your business and your budget but we can do this in any kind of companies.

Here are some random examples.

Let’s think you have a supermarket and you would like to promote your business. Usually, buying groceries is a boring and mandatory task that all of us have to do. Why don’t you bring a little bit more of fun to your place by inviting a celebrity there and making him or her to interact with your clients? You can offer a ticket to his or her next performance (in case she or he is a singer/actor).

What happens if your business is completely online, you can’t do that, right? Of course, you can!

I’m going to bring you a real example of an incredibly famous app. It’s called “Tinder”. Do you know what that is? Because I have no idea…

But I did a research and I found out that Tinder is an app that tries to match two people to have a date. Ok, today this may sound totally normal but when this app was released finding someone to having a date through internet was super rare.

This kind of websites already existed when Tinder was released but usually people used them secretly.

What did Tinder do to become so popular?!

Well, I have to tell you that the answer is experience marketing!

Yes! Now I’m going to explain it to you a little bit more about it.

They used to create massive parties in places close to universities in the U.S. The parties were for free just with one condition - you had to download an incredible app before enter to the party. Can you guess what app was that? It is not necessary for me tell you what it is, I guess.

So, people downloaded Tinder, entered into the party and at the end of it the people with the biggest quantity of “Matches” won a price. They are marketing genius, don’t you think?

So, you can increase your business creating great experiences for you customers even if they are or not online.

ONLINE EXPERIENCES

If you are not online, you are no one. Well, maybe not you, but your business is not.

Being online is the best way nowadays to promote any business but each time is harder to captivate customers through internet. Why? Because there is a lot of competition over there. But where there is not a lot of competition, right?

Don’t panic! It’s not as hard as you think.

To start, we have to mention that a website itself is an interactive place. So, just using any kind of digital device to enter to internet you are having an interactive experience but of course we’re not talking about that. We have to level that up.

You can do literally thousands of things to make a “Catchy” website. Let’s mention an example of a website, let’s say the website is called “Amazon.com”. One thing you can do to give to your customer a better experience is being their friends. Of course, in any kind of marketing books they will say that you need to know your client very well but here we reached a totally different level.

With a website we have the chance to know where the customer clicked, what him or her clicked and when him or her did it and we can save all that information. So, we can recommend them things you already know they liked because they watched them before.

You can let them to choose if they would like to receive a notification when his or her favorite brand is releasing a new product and it’s available on your store.

Your website has to be friendly with your customer they have to know all the time how to use it without any kind of effort. You have to be sure they have different ways to do the same action into the website. They also need to have a search bar and a contact box for supporting. They are a lot of enterprises that are adding supporting chats to their website! So, if you have a question, you can just chat with someone who will help you with your shopping issues.

If you have a “traditional” store your main goal will be to lead the customers from your website to your store, showing the benefits to go there and buy your product or service. But it’s no a bad idea to put your products online and deliver them, isn’t it? There is lot of people doing that already.

If you are an artist, you can show your talent through your website. You can have an impressive music video before the website opens. You can show the people a game in case you want to show your programing skills or you can show them the trailer of your next film.

It all depends on you, your business, your budget and your will to make your customers to have an incredible experience!
